This talk on 26th June 2017 is about Rare Earth Metals.
These are now extremely valuable. Amongst other things they are vital for modern Super Strong magnets and for Smartphones.
The speaker is Linda Morley BSc (Hons) currently studying for a Masters degree in Earth Science.
"Rare earths" are a group of 17 chemically similar elements crucial to the manufacture of many hi-tech products.
